I've never heard of them outside of that episode, let alone people complaining about them.

Low flow toilets are genuine shit and you have to flush multiple times defeating the purpose

I still dont understand why my father installed those things. What are the toilet police going to come arrest you?

Depends how many times. Typically, a low flush toilet uses 1/4 of the water as an old school toilet. So even if you flush 3 times every time you use it, its still saving water.

Yeah, it was a real problem that was mostly fixed. Dual flush toilets are better, they have two buttons, one for high flow and one for low. I've got a similar issue with a newer water efficient washing machine, it uses less water, but now I have to do multiple smaller loads with two rinse cycles and it feels like I'm not saving any water or energy at all.

Had a low flush toilet since that episode and have really never had that problem. I have access to an older toilet as well and I'll say my older toilet has way more issues, while using way more water.

Low flow and very low flow. The big button is still only about half of the old toilets.
