On squire difficulty, mind you. Don't have infinite time to grind out a completely masochistic challenge anymore. The chest bees aren't actually that bad once you know the rules. Definitely wouldn't have gotten all the normal ones without a guide, though.
Definitely a brutal game, even on baby difficulty, but very fun. The cast armor seems like a fair reward for beating the game, though I'm a little surprised the armory armor doesn't share its invincibility. Red arremer spell is a cute novelty. Bothers me that it deactivates whenever you get hit, even with cast armor. Never did find a use for emboulden. But, yeah, just narcissistically sharing a minor achievement --- One can not help but imagine Microsoft as being ran by a thousand Homer Simpsons. -Obturator ... Copied to Clipboard!

I played only the NES game as a kid. But I was very bad at it. Probably only ever made it to like level 2 or 3 ... Copied to Clipboard!

I remember when it first came out the Mexican Runner did a stream of it. I believe he started with Squier level and I think he was surprised at how badly he was having his ass handed to him. He must of kept practicing, though, because I just checked and he has a 22m49s speedrun clear on Legend difficutly, good for 3rd place. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I believe he started with Squier level and I think he was surprised at how badly he was having his ass handed to him.I vagely remember him doing a speed run of it for AGDQ one year and, while he was still obviously quite good at it, he seemed a bit frantic throughout the whole thing due to the random enemy spawns having the potential to seriously fuck him over at every turn. I have heard that it's harder than the other games in the series, which seems a little impressive given the reputation the series has. --- One can not help but imagine Microsoft as being ran by a thousand Homer Simpsons. -Obturator ...
