Once every couple of months-ish. I don't do it more often for a number of reasons:
1. I don't actually eat out that often anyway. If I tried something new every time, it would still be once every couple of months, lol. 2. Other people. I don't know what every person on Earth's problem is but they're going to "nah" everything you suggest and IF you can get a suggestion out of them, you pounce on it like a rabid lion. Or there's the thing where you start it off with the suggestion "I'm gonna go ____, do you wanna come along" and they say sure, but then when you get in the car, it's "OR we could..." 3. I do wanna go with a favorite sometimes. Even if it's a place I've been to before, I might try something new, I dunno, 3/10 times or so. --- There's a difference between canon and not-stupid. ... About once a month now but when I'm traveling it's obviously all the time.

I'm going to say constantly, but there's a few caveats - most of that is new menu items at places I'm already familiar with, because I don't live in a very large place w/ lots of crazy restaurants, and a lot of that is also cooking stuff myself.
