I just got it as an early birthday present to myself. Heard great things and am super excited. Especially after just now replaying Ghost of Tsushima.

Nah, it's more Koei Tecmo stuff. It's not a bad game, but I've played something incredibly similar in the team ninja style to the point it feels like more of the same but for 70$ instead of 60$. Nioh 1/2 would be better for the cost

Yeah that's fair. It revolves around parrying & Nioh style combat, the main draw being that it's a low budget open world Japan game. But co-op with 4 characters or people against bosses takes the fun out of it so you can just steamroll the bosses who are all human type enemies.

It's not like dark souls nameless king where it feels like the giant monster has a fair chance against 3 dudes running around. As soon as you have 4 in a group you can just bully enemies & it takes all the fun out of it. I think it's best played with 2, maybe 3 people at most for fights where there's more than one boss

I saw that the combat was stamina bar based like any other Soulsbourne type games, and any interest I had faded away.

I was like, oh cool, a Ghost of Tsushima type game, but this time actually made by Japanese people and oh there's stamina bar for combat blehhhhhhhhh.
