Hopefully the series doesn't follow the comics he that its implying.

But putting that aside I never got the hate he received in the original show. Especially with Logon trying to steal his woman at every turn which was.strangely overlooked by fans.
I doubt Xmen 97 will last long enough to get to a 2012 story. They probably will be lucky if they make it to early 2000s stories

But I bet a future show or movie will adapt Xmen vs Avengers (name of the story I was referencing)

The people calling Cyclops boring never found out about his turn in AvX. And when people do they think he's gone too far.

Its basically a sequel to a 90s cartoon. I think the show got canceled in 96 or 97. This show is acting like its back in the 90s and old show got another season

This plus the year in show is at least in 1997 and one of the shots you see the World Trade Centers

Woah. Props to Disney for acknowledging that they existed.

Well, we'll see how this fanfare holds up to the projected storyline. Personally, Cyclops was my favorite, but I always understood why ppl didn't like him. He's the leader. The leader doesn't get to be one of the boys.

Cyclops was always my favorite and the obsession w/ Wolverine always annoyed the shit out of me.

I quit the X-Men movies after the first one in like 2000 because it was basically The Wolverine Movie and Cyclops could've been replaced w/ a cardboard cutout and nobody would've noticed.
Pissed me the hell off, and for decades felt like I was screaming into the void b/c most people apparently loved those terrible fucking movies.

The foxmen were terrible all around. Exception being Days of Futures Past The Rouge Cut but even that wasn't super good.

I wonder if they're going to acknowledge Spider-Man. The X-Men had a couple of crossovers after their series had wrapped. His show ended on a cliffhanger with him traveling through the multiverse with Stan Lee himself in search of his fiance Mary Jane Watson.

I suppose he could receive a Troy McClure cameo and go voiceless.

They technically did already acknowledge him. Even Stark Industies gets mentioned.

What'd they say?

And, yeah, Iron Man had his own 90s cartoon. I forget about that one sometimes as it got stuck on UPN alongside Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, and Silver Surfer.

A newspaper blew by in the street. It was a Daily Bugle with an article about Spider-Man by JJJ.

Iron Man and Fantastic Four were syndicated. They were on the WB channel in my area. I don't think Silver Surfer was syndicated, it was a Fox Kids show (if it was definitely on your UPN then it was syndicated as well because it was on Fox here) The Incredible Hulk was a UPN show though.
