I've seen the following in the past year or two, which I really enjoyed.

Squid Game obviously
Kingdom
All of Us Are Dead
Death's Game
Sweet Home
Alice in Borderlands (I know this is Japanese)

What else is out there that's REALLY good and at these levels. Japanese is fine too. Horror or thriller. Not really looking for love stories or anything.

the Vengeance Trilogy, for thrillers, if you haven't seen them yet:

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
OldBoy
Lady Vengeance

Thirst, by the same director, is an interesting vampire movie.

for action-thrillers, like John Wick, The Man from Nowhere and Better Luck Tomorrow.

edit: for Japanese horror, definitely Audition, and Perfect Blue, if you don't mind animated movies.

Yeah, I've seen all those. The reason I'm trying to get into more Korean shows is basically because I've seen every Japanese and Korean movie of note from the past 30 years and I'm not sure if there's any really noteworthy Japanese shows outside Alice in Borderland.

Movie was filmed before the Covid pandemic.

I especially loved the background soundtrack in the beginning.

Hellbound starts off good.

Only thing I can think of at the moment is Moving. It's really good, but not really horror. Some pretty graphic violence, though, it's a mix of action/thriller about spies with super powers.

You already have my two favorites, kingdom and sweet home.

Is Part 2 worth it and needed? I'm concerned since you didn't mention it. I'm definitely gonna watch this since it looks like it's free on Tubi.

Alright, so I started this, and I'm not sure how to feel. Only 1 episode so far.

It seems interesting, but the Hulk looking demons are a weird touch. That opening scene was pretty crazy though. Looked like something out of The Avengers, but Sweet Home shows the CGI gets pretty bad with these shows.

Damn, 8.5 on imdb, I'm definitely watching this after Hellbound.

Kingdom is just another tier and probably my favorite. I can't believe they're taking so long with season 3. So many shows started after Kingdom season 2 and are at season 2 already.
