The only bugs I would kill (without hesitation) are mosquitos and fruit flies.

Outside I try and avoid killing bugs, but inside I view them as pests. I let spiders (arachnids) slide because they eat the other bugs and generally keep to themselves (unlike centipedes).

I cannot stand having bugs in my general living space, except spiders which are cool because they keep to their little zones, and they don't want any of my food and instead eat any other pests that are likely to get into my food or lay eggs in my clothes or any of the other harmful things insects do.

We have huntsman and jumping spiders in our house. They have kept our place free of cockroaches, centipedes, and flies.

Outside, elephant mosquitoes eat the smaller blood-drinking mosquitoes. There are dragonflies and mantises too, hunting flies.

flies, mosquitos, roaches, and black widows as my wife can't function if one is nearby. the rest i leave alone/escort out of the house if they're inside.

Stinkbugs are awful, but you have to be careful because they will release their stink if you disturb them too much

Yeah flies and mosquitos are easy kills. Anything else I try to catch and take outside.

My step father kills anything in his path that isn't human or my mom's cat. They had a big praying mantis on the back porch and he walks up and smashing it with a shoe. "Their egg sacks will tear up my porch". According to him every insect is an enemy in some way.
