yes I do feel a lot better financially.

but in regards to us dating it wont matter until she feels more comfortable about our age gap.

and she wont do that until she gains more life experience.

so were talking years from now honestly, so plan to do what I want.

yeah she originally did freak out about it.

that was within the first 6 months of us dating.

Realizing we had really different definitions of what was seriously seeing someone and that was the disconnect.

That and that lie was god awful.

I hope by "plan to do what I want" you mean that you'll move on from her and find someone that actually wants a serious relationship with you. Don't wait around until she's "ready" several years from now. There are other women out there that will be a good fit for you, you just have to find them.

I dont intend to wait around for her, no. Will that option remain open ? I dont know yet. Im still not sure how I feel about her lying about the situation, long term.

I already have plans to take a different girl out with tickets I had gotten for her originally.

last full convo weve had I told her I still see her as someone I could marry in a few years, but today Im actually scared of dating her.

Basically

She lied about who a gift she wanted me to help her friend is for.

I also feel like she lied about her dating situation, and that said gift was for the dude shes currently seeing.

She feels like she only lied about the gift.

So she finessed you into buying a gift she gave to a dude?

So you fully bought something that was intended to be for someone else, even if she wasnt lying. And yet still demanded she return this gift that you willingly gave her, under threat of getting lawyers involved?

I really just dont see how thats reasonable even if she was lying about who the gift was for.

also jfc how do you end a conversation with this person after ALL OF THIS with yeah i could definitely marry you in a few years what the hell are you trying to do?

Lmao Im not holding my breath

i just see her positive qualities and can acknowledge her need to grow as a person.

her growing as a person has always been the hugest obstacle when it comes to us being in a relationship, and shes growing its just been a rougher process than I thought it would be.
