Jesus christ, im not blaming the victim. Its not their fault some loser stabbed them. All i asked was why wait until a more dangerous time of the night to grab a bite. In a perfect world, we all should be able to walk the streets at any time, for any reason, but we dont. Shit people will do shit things under the cover of night when its easier to get away with crimes.

What happened to the two sisters is tragic, doesn't give you an excuse to condemn an entire gender.

I need to remember that most people here live in the suburbs so when they hear someone getting food that late in the night that it'll shock them but that's very normal here in NYC. It's called the city that never sleeps for a reason.

Never heard it called that. Makes it sound dirty and sleazy tbh. Not saying it is, just that it sounds like a movie about a city that is rampant with night activities and crime and the main character is a hard boiled detective who is always tired and doesn't play by the book.

Might be too old for my time, I'm in my 20s.

Looking it up, 1977. Yeah I need something a bit closer to modern pop culture for me to potentially know about it.

It was before my time too but it's still a song I have heard a lot because of how iconic it is. Modern pop culture still references it regularly. It's pretty much the song that gets used whenever a character goes to New York.
