I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the House of the Dead series, but I never actually played the first game in the series so I was thankful for this remake. And for a game that can be finished in 20 minutes they certainly milk a lot of replay value out of it with this trophy list. There's 3 different endings based on the score you finish the game with, extra weapons that unlock if you save every scientist in the game and multiple paths to take in every stage. Between having to do a no damage run and seeing every possible branching path in the game you'll be replaying it a few times to see everything.

Will they be remaking other games in the series? I wonder, but I'm guessing probably not. 3, 4 and Overkill are all available in some way on PS3, but as far as I know 2 hasn't seen any sort of re-release since the Wii port so maybe that could be a candidate for a remake in the future.
