I used to. Then one afternoon I went to my car to grab something and when I opened it I saw a white pill on my seat which threw me off because I dont take any meds. And then when I sat in my seat I noticed someone rifled through my console and glove box and then saw that they ripped my dash cam from its wiring.

What, that was inside your car that you did not lock?

I set my car to autolock. Years ago, my girlfriend used to leave her car unlocked all the time, and I'd always tell her to stop doing it. She never saw the issue until one night when she went to visit me at my apartment, she fell asleep and stayed overnight. She went back to her car in the morning to find someone had gone through her stuff. She locks it every time now.

Not yet but definitely getting one.

They stole a bunch of stuff though?

Nah. Luckily, she had absolutely nothing valuable in her car. All they did was dump her glove box into the passenger seat.

That really depends on where you live though. If your in a big city, by all means autolock your car. But there are some smaller towns in the northern part of my province where they actively tell you to not lock your car because of Polar Bears.

Doesn't stop them from coming in on ice sheets during the winter. And since they are especially vicious, places up north don't lock their house doors or car doors. But they don't really need to worry about breaking and entering as everyone knows everyone.
