I'd like to get some income in, but I can still coast if I skip out on this. Also my fiance will have to drive me to/from (25min drive) until I get insurance. I am currently looking for another job, and have written off this job largely because of some dirty stuff they pulled on my fiance and I (both of us work there). Should I suck it up and do the work, or keep enjoying my staycation and look for other jobs/work on passion projects? --- Peace Love Dope ... Copied to Clipboard!

i was going to say that landscaping can be a pretty satisfying type of work, i did it for a little bit myself, in the sense that you get good exercise and a good view of what changes you bring to like, some yard.
but then you said you wrote this job off for playing dirty. fuck them then! also there's plenty of risk there to re-injure your back. know people who have slipped discs. --- https://imgur.com/a7zbPmp.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've enjoyed gardening and landscaping for my family. It's not particularly difficult work either. Maybe I should clear up the "doing dirty". They put me up on a cherry picker (I have no OSHA training) and had me load 45lbs boxes onto a pallet. Not used to it at all and injured myself, had no back brace on or anything. They've also played favoritism with the only data entry work available and lied to us about how they decided who gets to do it. --- Peace Love Dope ... Copied to Clipboard!

okay, absolutely do not give these people another chance to hurt you. like, i'm pretty sure what they did was illegal. might want to google around for a local osha violation lawyer. --- https://imgur.com/a7zbPmp.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

They put me up on a cherry picker (I have no OSHA training) and had me load 45lbs boxes onto a pallet. I'm like 99% sure what they did was illegal. However, I didn't want to go through the ordeal of reporting it and never actually got my back injury documented in any way besides correspondence. That ship has sailed and at this point I want an easy out and to be able to use them as a reference for similar work. --- Peace Love Dope ... Copied to Clipboard!
