RE: OP

I'm feeling the opposite right now. I'm real tired and feel like we are way too busy from March all the way up to July. I think I might have just a few free weekends in that time.

that does sound pretty miserable

but how could discovering the mummy's tomb be miserable!

i would KILL to get to live in the researchers living quarters for a month there
IRL, Antarctica's seasonal storms mean people there have to lock-down for several weeks at a time.

SNL alum Dennis Miller went there for "a season." He said that it was amazing, but he had his appendix removed before going (they told him to because if it ruptured there he would die--no emergency airlifts).

But all those places Nathan Drake went to, others already were there too.

So I'm unsure what you really want. Do you want to be the first of few to see something, or do you just want to experience new things, because it's 2024, there's few places you can go that nobody else has, but you can definitely go see and experience things that can blow your mind.

Go to the Grand Canyon, it's a marvel.

its important to follow your heart. If you are thinking something probably many other people have the same passions.

Maybe a good business idea would be planting treasure and participants have to find the geocache / ruin or something?

like say 10 people chip in $1,000 each to play and compete to find a planted treasure worth $6,000 (rest of proceeds go to administration / profit).

I started road cycling for this reason and it helps scratch the itch. New roads, new routes, new people along the way.

Only downside is the butt pain

The more you ride the less it will bother you *if* you have the correct style of saddle for you.

[ If you start getting wrist pain, change your stem and bar setup or the frame (a different bike), asap. ]

I feel like it's relatively easy to find adventure. Go to a new place and stumble upon things and say yes.

Not going to give anyone advice here but I'm just saying I would be highly skeptical of exploring any location on a list that includes North Sentinel Island.

I discovered a new bakery today. I raped and pillaged one of their tasty items at reasonable cost. Then I purchased additional to take back to my kingdom.
