Every(majority, unless girl is crazy) break up hurts a guy. Guys dont get that much attention unless your really well off.

Anyways, just a normal conversation is needed here. Do what you did originally two years ago that attracted her. This is your shot. Second chance, she gave you an olive branch and basically is saying, prove to me how good of a man you are.

Most people say dont take a girl back after she rejects you, but its your life do what you feel is right.

True but youve got to weigh it up. Why take the risk for the tiny chance it could work out? Especially when you take into account everything OP has said in this topic and prior ones about his issues with over attachment.

Sometimes you just gotta make a judgement call based on what you know and do whats best for your own mental health. Shes already being flaky with him and hes in the position hes waiting on her to make her mind up and hes on hold while she knows hes there is she decides she needs him.

Sometimes even if it could work out its still the right decision not to pursue it. At the very least OP is already spiralling based off a few texts.

But yes you are right. We dont know 100% for sure. But nothing in life is guaranteed and very rarely do we get to make any choices that are 100% guaranteed even with the best of intentions.

I don't know anything about their relationship, so I might be out of my league

No you didn't have a problem everybody processes their feelings and emotions differently.

I'm my life I learned that hanging on to certain feelings and even associating with certain people when I shouldn't has caused really negative real life consequences for me so I'm a lot more cautious now than I was in the past
