Yeah that is the one source of pain. I feel like this is the one issue no one teaches about. "Just jack up the car" is all I ever got as a kid, but not once was I told where or what i was to look for. Even worse, is now my car so low, it's almost impossible to look under(certainly the front). Had to buy a super low-profile jack just to get to the sides.

You need to loosen the nuts before jacking it up, just enough to they aren't torqued down.

I haven't had to do it in nearly 5 years but im pretty sure I can make it work.

I do and I have doneit a few times. But even if I didn't already know, I am competent enough to find a video and follow the instructions in it.

Exactly what i use, than i have a 1/2" drive cordless impact that i take them off the rest of the way.

Luckily I learned to change a tire in my garage, and it was a 4runner. But sadly every car I own now uses run flats so there goes the tire changing skill out the window.

If you mean putting the spare on or rotating them, yep. If you mean actually putting a new tyre on the rim, no.

I've done this with a manual separating station. It's a post bolted into a concrete base to hold the rim while you use a steel bar with a two-sided tongue: one side unseats the tire bead from the rim, the other side seats the tire bead onto the rim. The post is the fulcrum that you use the bar with as the lever, pulling it around the post while the tongue circles the rim to finish separating or seating the tire.
