well technically I skimmed it

I learned pretty early on in high school there was no point in actually reading a book because I could just write down all the class discussion notes.

I read it. I thought the analogy was pretty heavy handed. Like you could literally just substitute the animal characters for their irl counterparts and you'd get a history of Russia.
