Oh man I worked at pizza hut for like 5 days. They threw me to the kitchen alone after watching the training vids on a fucking Wing Wednesday! Didnt even tell me in advance. The manager was like the angry lifer stereotype from Waiting. She was soooo mean to me, I no called no showed for the one and only time in my life there. Happy that you are having a better experience.

Oh dude you're in.

Sounds like you have a manager that's into you - enjoy the more humane workload and the perks of not having an over-stressed manager feel they need to periodically scold employees to get some arbitrary numbers up.

If things go shitty and you are given the usual fast food employee workload, you can always quit.

How much to people tweak out their orders?
Do they order things, as is, or do they try to rewrite the menu?

I also work at a pizza place, but it's not a national chain and unfortunately no girls work there so I can't flirt with anyone.

Been there, yeah make sure to have fun with it while you can, but be careful about it being long-term if you're still going to work there for more than a few months

i used to be friends with a guy who worked at Dominos and got the same 50% off, but he said that it was only off of full menu prices and that most of the time it wasn't cheaper than some of the coupons or deals that anyone could get. i do routinely save more than 50% with the deals at Dominos i used to order. so that seems like a pretty shitty practice to give your employees a discount that actually comes out to cost more than deals that any customer can get.

It might be useful for something brand new you want to try that wouldn't be under the coupon deal yet.
