I feel teary eyed whenever I get hugged

I too am gripped with overwhelming fear for my life when I'm hug and thus cry as a response. /s

Typically I get a few, yesterday I had dental surgery and basically slept the whole day away so I just had 1 after dropping her off at school.

If you want hugs have a kid, you'll get plenty, at least until they become a teenager.

my wife and i both wfh and we're both huggers.i've only been up 2.5 hours and she's been gone running errands for an hour and we're up to 3 already.

I live alone and I get a minimal amount of physical human interaction like once every 3 months. At most it's a hug.

But yes, hugs have been shown to be good for one's health. They can do things like reduce stress and lower blood pressure.

I actually avoid hugs because of my OCD. It's easily in the single digits in the last 25 years.

I think I hugged my sister a few weeks ago and that's it for the year.

If I got hugged 4 times a day I would be pissed

The last time someone tried to hug me I debated throwing them over the coffee table.

there's nothing more cool than being hugged by someone you like! but if someone tries to touch you in a place or a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, that's no good! it's your body! no one has a right to touch you if you don't want them to!

so what do you do? first, you say "no!" and then, you get out of there! most important, you've got to tell someone you trust, like your parents, your teacher, a police officer

I went to visit my niece yesterday evening, so I got 1 from her.

I haven't felt the touch of a mortal for over a decade.

I get some at work (work with young kids with autism) and I usually start and end the day with a hug with wife, as well as when we are both home from work, and otherwise throughout the day.

Im not sure of the number of hugs but I can tell you the number of people. 6, plus a dog if he counts.

my cat has jumped on my lap then stood up to sniff and rub on my face a few times, so there's that lol. tbh it's a lot cuter than hugs so idc.
