YouTube comments that reiterate what the video said word for word are doing the lords work. It makes the video way easier to find on Google's search indexing or any search engine. I was trying to find a scene from 30 rock to laugh at for good times sake and couldn't find it but then I found it because Google read the comments section and linked me to the video.

Yeah, that is pretty funny. I usually roll my eyes at those comments, and I assume most people do. "Congrats, you repeated the joke" or "yes, I watched the video too" are common replies I've seen.

I'm glad it helped you OP but I've never seen Google show me youtube comments, that's odd.

I especially like the comments that timestamps parts of the video. That's especially good for stuff like full albums so that makes what I'm looking for easy to find.

I hate when there's always that asshole that replies "Yeah that's what the video said."

When using Google it looks for the words you typed in

Like sometimes you'll see a link and under it will notify that a certain word of what you typed in does not show up in that page. Meaning the rest of the words do just not that one
