There are plenty of squat four legged dinosaurs that Bulbasaur could resemble.

That's not the point though. It's a made up creature. Trying to give it some kind of bogus classification dependent on real life analogues is just so much fan fiction. Trying to 'logic' the discussion is futile. Like there's a rule book for this stuff.

Look at him: he's a little dinosaur guy.
