So she's not together anymore with her previous boyfriend but she said they're besties. He also still lives in the same house with her.

I was eating lunch at work with her and another coworker (female) interrupted us the whole time and the topic came up so I heard it first hand.

she's not into you if she's talking about that shit right in front of you
but to be fair, she's probably not into anyone if she's living with her ex who happens to be her bestie

or, that other coworker and the girl you like are conspiring with each other, and they forcefully steered the convo in that direction with you right there just so they could gauge your reaction

Well I know it wasn't this 100% because we both find this lady annoying and she would not stop talking to us.

Depends why they are living with them.

These days it's pretty common for couples to stay living in the same house when they split because neither can afford to move.

So we were talking yesterday and a particular restaurant came up. We were talking about what was good at the restaurant and the towards the end of that conversation there was like a sigh and 5 straight seconds of silence. Not sure if she was expecting me to ask her out to go. I didn't lol. I'm still confused by this whole situation with her ex.
