Honestly that is how I feel on CE even though in general gamefaqs skews older these days. I'll see people talk about stuff in the early 2000's as their childhood and it was like I had already been out of school for long enough to serve 5 years in the military and travel the world multiple times. I was established at my job, buying a house and thoroughly into adulthood.

I mean yeah? It's 2024 so it's almost a decade since then. A child could be anywhere up to 12, after that the ages end in een and people get into games at different ages. So a 10 year old getting into gaming in 2015 would be an adult in 2024

Yee ive seen some people here and there say that about the 3ds era of Pokemon.

...and whilst X was the first one i bought myself ive played the others, even used to borrow a gbc with crystal from a family friend.

Then again the 2010s sure as hell felt shorter than the 2000s, thats for damn sure.
