It's kinda wild that people still think that voting is some expression of morality rather than a strategic action made to swing power in your preferred direction. Even worse is that these people are willing to put millions more at risk because we can't flip a switch and end all evils in the world

I would happily make the argument that failing to vote when it is patently obvious that one party is promising to upend the Republic and recreate it in their image, bring about retribution on their political enemies, and enact policies that will bring untold suffering to countless minorities around the nation - either through deporting or attempting to legislate their rights out of existence - is itself a massive moral failing.

Basically, if the choices are between a President who is doing bad things but will not attempt to destroy democracy, vs. a President who will do bad things and also attempt to destroy democracy to perpetuate their own power, and you decide to cross your arms and stay home? What was wrong with the border bill? It was the best of both worlds. There's no reason anyone should have opposed it, as it would have shut Republicans up about the border, as well as give border security a massive upgrade to actually stop illicit drugs from coming in.

You really want to do something about the Palestinian issue? Go join their war effort then. Go there physically and provide aid, pressure your congress representatives to pressure their colleagues to create a bill to provide aid. Gather your community to pressure congress. Keep in mind there can be better options for the Presidential elections, but as of how far deep we are in it now, that can't change and you know it.
