It was on sale or something I think and I bought it a while back but postponed it so I'd play it closer to Rebirth but now Rebirth is like a week away >_>

Yeah, it's really fun. Just played it myself a few weeks ago.

Zack's new voice is nowhere near as good as his original one, but that's about it.

I enjoyed it on psp, and it looks like it will be pretty relevant to rebirth. Give it a try if you plan to play it, if you don't like it just watch some youtube summaries.

If you've played the original, go ahead and play it now. If you haven't played the original, there's really no best way to do it.

If you haven't played the original and you play Crisis Core after Remake, you will spoil a major twist (or get confused and possibly google something which spoils a twist like I did lol) especially with the beginning of Rebirth. But if you play Rebirth first, you won't really know much about Zack.

However, I absolutely loved Crisis Core Reunion (never played the original), and it made Zack my favorite video game character of all time when I played it last year. I played FF7:Remake for the first time last year too and fell in love with the universe so I decided to play Crisis Core immediately after.

Gotcha. I meant OG FF7 when I said original, sorry. But yea, I'd say go ahead and play Crisis Core now. It's not too long of a game.
