it's a flawed but fun game so yeah it's a good game tho i still hate the limited save system but it fit cuz it was going for a rogue rpg instead of the usual jrpg

The limited save was meant to discourage save scumming to constantly redo parts of the game with a lower d meter. It wasn't really a "rogue" RPG. You have to beat the game without saving anyway to get the highest d ratio.

It has a good song. I never played it enough to have a real opinion. I have an copy of it somewhere for some reason. But that game is so bizarre.

i get that but dude back in the day when i was playing it on my OG ps2 my hometown had power issue that randomly go out in the day
i remember losing some progress cuz of it due dumb me not understanding the system better back then
now i can enjoy the game better since i understand the system plus i love the battle system even more now

Remasters would be amazing.

It's an awful game. And this is coming from a Binding of Isaac player, who is all familiar with 1 death equals start the game over again. Having no save points until you beat the first boss is piss poor game design in a game where you can't actively get upgrades to help you beat said first boss.

The placement of the first save point is what bothers you and not the SOL Restore?

No, what bothers me is that the game besides that isn't enough to keep me wanting more. I've played a lot of rpgs, somewhere in the thousands at this point, and that, along with Arc the Lad: End of Darkness are my 2 least favourite games from popular franchises. Those games essentially killed the franchise, all because developers decided that making a decent game just isn't in the cards. Yes, both have had an ios next in series, but they might as well not exist as they were never really advertised.
