They didn't even make a Pokmon game. They made a Survival Crafter with a monster collecting mechanic but I would find it hard to believe that it actually scratches the itch of someone looking for a Pokmon experience.

Haven't played any of the other "pokemon-like" games but I can say that Palworld is incredibly fun to play. Not really a very polished single player experience though. Game seems to be more focused on the multiplayer aspect rather than focusing on a solid single player experience.
