I finished the series for the first time about a year or two ago. Even though I didn't grow up with it, I still got hit with the nostalgia. It was also nice seeing the context for Dawson's meme face. I wanted Dawson and Joey to be together dammit ;_;

meme face? never saw. Alot of people liked this show. I really did not. Was it kinda following the formula of the show 90210? liked 90210 more was a huge fan of neither.

This face. Never saw 90210. Party of Five was another one from that era that I enjoyed though.

did you ever find vanderbeek kinda annoying? I kinda get it though, meme face, i guess.

I watched it for about a season. I was mainly watching Buffy and Charmed, and in turn I was pretty much watching anything on the WB from late 90s - early 00s

his face does look kinda weird though, imo. He was also in the movie varsity blues i should watch that soon. Did you like smallville , also on wb? I really liked that show. Good action and special effects. It did not get great ratings. Dawson's might have gotten higher avg. ratings. idk

I did watch Smallville for about 4 years and then got tired of it. I liked the season finales and premieres a lot but I got tired of a lot of the villain of the week filler episodes, there were so many of them. I definitely made it to when Lois Lane shows up though

Yeah, I watched DC. From...S2 to the finale. I mean, it had Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, and Meredith Monroe (in turn, the ingenue, the bad girl, and the cute geek).

Plus, as it was filmed in NC and I live in NC, it was fun to see all the little regional brands show up.

yeah reportedly they really made it important to get really good episodes for the 1st and last one of each season. Really liked that show. Had special effects and action. Do any shows even have any good action these days. Prob even less of them being made then during the smallville days. Maybe many tv viewers don't care about action. If viewers don't demand them then networks won't make them. It's cheaper to make shows without action. Idk, smallville just wasn't huge in the ratings like it should have been.

Smallville definitely felt big when it first started, at least for me. I was in a freshman in HS when it stated, so it felt like I was in the same grade as Clark. I definitely never missed an episode during those first few seasons.

one recent show that had awesome action was Person of Interest, just watched it on Freevee, it was really good, not the best show ever but it had amazing action

Heard Howard Stern bring this up and I agree, Clark actor was supposed to be 14 when the show started, a freshman stern said it looked ridiculous and I agree. One of the weirdest age related things I've seen on TV. thought welling was a great actor, though many of that shows fans disagree with that , iirc stern said it is greatest TV show ever and I prob agree with that, idk it never really caught on. Heard the shows fans were very loyal, followed it everywhere through all the changes in times it aired on tv

Smallville really grabbed me early on (in part because every girl was smokin' hot), but after like S3 or 4 it just got dumber and dumber IMO.

oh, you mean allison mack and kristin kreuk? in what way did it get really bad after season 4, though?
