They've got a full service food bar thing, soups, pizza, olive bar, salad bar, fried rice, cheesy potatoes, wedges other shit, a popcorn station that cooks kettle corn, cheesy popcorn, oreo popcorn, and a couple other flavors, then an area that is basically a Chipotle, they make Burritos, Nachos, and Rice Bowls, then there's a Sushi/Poke bowl section that also serves Ramen and other asian cuisines, then a pizza station that will make pizzas to order in front of you in a coal fired oven, then finally the fourth face of the giant square kitchen was a Pasta/Pasta Bowl section, where you can get various pastas or pasta bread bowls and stuff.

Then they also sell shit like Kobe Beef and Uni and other exotic/expensive foods that a normal Publix wouldn't sell.

I'm sure there's a bunch of other things I missed. I personally think it's a good idea for them to try and basically steal the market for Chipotle/Poke/Sushi places and sadly I'd probably help fund terrorism by venturing here now and then.

They basically aped Whole Foods but then stole from a Chipotle/Poke spot, while also making pasta and pizzas and popcorn.

Not in my area. I mean I have seen sushi at two, but not the other stuff.

I've seen a dedicated sushi station at one other Publix. Other ones have like a premade Sushi area, but not some actual sushi chefs making the shit to order in front of you. As for Pizza, never seen that before, again that's a Whole Foods rip I think, and I've legit never seen any grocery store do Chipotle stuff or kettle corn.

The normal Publix down the street from me is a basic ass grocery store, it's clean and inviting, but it's not like this at all. They have a sandwich area but that's about it, but all Publix have those, it's what they're famous for.

And I have been to seven in different areas in my state and they dont, so yours are nicer it seems.

That's awesome for them. I know my friends were all going apeshit over this one a few weeks back and I finally got to hit it up today since I was in that part of town, blew my mind.

Hell they even have a faux starbucks inside too, I forgot about that, I believe they also served wine or something that definitely looked like wine. Also had an upstairs eating area which I've never seen before.

We have Sprouts, Whole Foods, and used to have another spot I forget that had a pretty baller ready to eat station, but they closed pretty quick because the actual business expanded too fast, they went from like 8 stores to 50 and couldn't handle it. The one I frequented was busy as shit all the time too, now it's a Total Wine or something.

I mean yeah Publix is like any large super store right I'm sure the west coast has a west coast variant. I like it, their cookies 10 years ago used to be really good
