For sake of argument, say that there was some character, and hypothetically, I wanted to look up lewd pictures of them, wouldnt it stand to reason that I want those pictures to closely resemble that character instead of a charicature? Hypothetically

I hate that in general. Making things bigger is ok, but lots of people make them absurdly huge and it's a turn off. Other things are way too exaggerated as well, like the gallons of fluids and such. I'm far from being a prude, but it's gross sometimes.

I generally think when going for moderate/extreme off-model you still should make some effort to make it obvious it's supposed to be a specific character. probably the easiest is at least having the same kind of face (maybe not 1-1 on-model there but pretty clearly the same kind) or hairstyle. if you're at the point where literally nothing lines up with the OG then it may as well just be an OC.

If you don't like it then draw or commission your own.

Often I wonder who the super exaggerated stuff is for. Like, who really gets off to that? It's too comical to be sexy. >_>

This is a question I've often grappled with as well, and my take is that for some people (especially when you start drifting deeper into fetish stuff), they want their smut to be as far removed from reality as possible; because the closer to reality it is, the more ashamed / depressed they'll feel about it.

Not really... people just like seeing characters they like with whatever preferences or fetishes they have... Which I definitely get...

Everybody's got their kinks.
Some are purists who want things to the letter.
Some are maximalists who love exaggeration.

I usually go for either in terms of body, but purist when it comes to personality.

Anyway, there's a specific kink for drawing flat or petite characters with huge busts. There's also an inverse because every kink has its inverse.
