The mediator says that he has never experienced such a tough situation before.

thats actually illegal for tesla to have in their contract. or if its not, its fucking stupid america doesnt make it illegal to lie in a contract. im certain even in america no contract overrides the law so its lying to say that their right to sue was signed away on a contract

It's a shitty policy but if you sign the contract, it's enforceable. Not sure what "lying" has to do with anything. Many American companies have binding arbitration policies.

McDonald's even recently added it as a condition to use their app. Again, shitty policy but they must declare it upfront.

theres no such thing as a contract that prohibits you from suing someone. theres nothing that can be written in a contract that exempts either party from legal repercussions when breaking the law
