"Cozy" farming games don't count.
The only game to ever really copy Animal Crossing's formula including the real-time clock has been Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times on the DS, which ended up having two sequels which never got localized. Disney's Dreamlight Valley is a Animal Crossing clone and a very good one at that. I hear there's also going to be a Hello Kitty game that is essentially Animal Crossing down to a T.
