Not really a musical fella, but I recently discovered songs from it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujISHxSnYrw Like, damn, that is GOOD music. It almost sounds modern for a 50 year old song. Has anyone seen the whole thing? How good is it? --- http://i.imgur.com/vDci4hD.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

I watched this thing a looooooooooooooooooong time ago in Catholic School. Only thing I really remember was the titular song.
--- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

What do you mean sounds modern? It doesn't sound out of place for 1973 imo

Dungeater posted... my catholic school took us to see this on stage I'm surprised. From what I read, it's not like the traditional story of Jesus in that it shows Jesus's human side, has him questioning God, and Judas as sympathetic. Figured those were all no-nos lol royic posted... What do you mean sounds modern? It doesn't sound out of place for 1973 imo I guess I just don't associate that kind of sound with early 70s? But you're right, looking up some songs I thought were late 70s at most, I guess it's not that out of place. It still has kind of a modern-ish feel tho to me. Can't really explain it. I'm no music expert so I'm probably just bullshittin'. BlueBoy675 posted... My favorite musical. The movie version is definitely the best. Ted Neely is incredible His voice is so good. So is Carl Anderson's Judas. It must be hard for people to play these characters in modern productions without comparing to their high standard.
