mine turns 2 soon and its so exciting seeing him learn language and interacting with other kids

a local bar has a kids musician perform every Monday. Went last night and hes really started to engage with the music, as a concert fanatic thats really exciting to me

(i dont remember who else used to participate in these topics, tag em if you got em)

Mine is 2 1/2 and she now likes to get my attention for no reason other than to have me hear her rip ass.

We have one due in April, so the other one will be 2 1/2 at that time

well see how that goes

one fortunate thing is my job offers 6 weeks of paid parental leave (and then Ill take the other 6 weeks of FMLA unpaid), so thatll take some pressure off in the early days

Daughter is 2 in February. The past couple weeks have been moody for her. Wanting to throw a constant tantrum so much more than before

4 daughters. 17, 14, 11 and 8. It is exhausting when they are here, but I do often miss them when they are not. I am super lucky that my wife (not their mother) is so supportive.

My daughter turns 2 in March (my birthday is also in March!) and one of my favorite things to look forward to is picking her up from daycare.

I'll look at her from her classroom window and wave at her (or just make eye contact) and she'll bolt up right from where she was sitting, flailing her hands like a bird eager for someone to open the door. The teacher opens the door and she'll walk over to me and utter the cutest "Hiiiiiiiiii Dada!" you ever heard in your life.

Melts my heart every time. How do you guys feel when your little one addresses you as Mama or Dada?

I love it. When I pick him up from daycare he drops what hes doing with a huge smile and runs over to give me a hug. This morning he woke up asking for Dada

its funny how they differentiate at this age. No I dont want mama to take me out of the crib today, I want dada

Yeah mine is definitely learning how to misbehave at this age. It gets frustrating for sure, teaching them how to deal with those feelings

Not yet. My daughter is 19 months and she's about to graduate to a higher up toddler class where they'll begin potty training.

Its wild how much more like a big boy mine acts after he spend a day playing with his older cousins

talking a lot more, just generally playing nicer with his toys

makes me wonder what #2 is going to be like
