They should do something big. Like maybe launch a new Era in the movies. I would either adapt Dawn of the Jedi, which a time period like 50,000 years before Episode 1. Or go the other direction. Do a big time skip and take us thousands of years after the time of Rey

So removed from everyone we know that it would be a new universe. So far that even Rey, let alone Luke and friends, are just legends that people are not sure even ever happened

This is already happening.

Two new era films are being made. Dawn of the Jedi is being helmed by the guy who made Logan, and The New Jedi Order is kicking off with a Rey film set 15 years after IX.

Anyway, I'm attending SW Celebration in 2025 in Japan, and will likely also be attending wherever the 50th celebration is.

They should actually release the original cuts of the three good Star Wars movies. That's what I think they should do for the 50th anniversary.

That would be good too. Somewhere either with me, or at my parents house is the old DVD trilogy collection I bought years ago. It was the last time the original cuts were officially released. They have each of the movies on bonus disc's.

By law, shouldn't they own them? Unless George made some special clause during the sale, that Disney could never release the originals
