Never ever thought this could work as a TV series on regular cable TV but not only does it work, its far and away the most violent the franchise has ever been. Its actually surprisingly well written for a horror series about a toy doll possessed by the spirit of a serial killer. They actually do well to logically cover a good amount of the expected plot holes.

I cant believe it took this long to have a Chucky in the white house plot, thats just solid gold. All we need now is Chucky in space.

I haven't seen the show, but I did go to the haunted house at Universal Studios in Orlando. In the queue, they showed highlights off all of his kills from the show. The best one was jumping down from a Christmas tree and using a chainsaw to cut a woman in half.

Same. I love the show. It's like the corny cheesey movies in a longer format. Chucky/Childs Play has always been my favorite slasher series, and I grew up watching all of the big series.

I 100% approve of the show.

On the subject of Chucky, I have a quick question. From the highlight reel that I saw, it looked like three of his victims were clergy.

Does the show go into commentary about the church or is it just Chucky killing anyone and everyone he sees indiscriminately?

Season 3 is beyond stupid. Like really beyond stupid and makes no sense.

Has season 3 been better than season 2. I did like some of the ridiculousness, but it just went too far and wacky for me overall. (Though not the Jennifer Tilly parts. I still enjoyed that as stupid as it may have been.)

I like Jake and he does get better character development later in the season. It's also cool to have a gay hero in a horror franchise.

So far season 3 seems to be more or less the same tone as season 2. Definitely beefs up the violence even further (especially with one of my beloved Nickelodeon TV stars ). But the concept of the season is just a blast.

Honestly at first I hated the Jennifer Tilly stuff and really all of the movie carryover stuff and wished this was a separate universe but it grew on me as it went.
