  • I played a Legend of Zelda game. I found a hidden passage where I (Link) was promptly gunned down by a man with an automatic weapon.
  • I played a Mega Man X game on Super Nintendo. I tried again and again to beat a metallic dragon boss, but woke up before I could do it. When I woke up, I was pissed that I'd never get a rematch.
  • I had a sequel dream to the Mega Man X dream months later. I was consciously aware that it was a dream and kept repeating, "Don't wake up! Don't wake up!" as I pumped energy blasts into the metallic dragon and finally defeated it.
  • I was playing a Mario "edutainment" game where the enemies could not hurt you (just like in Mario is Missing). I had to admit that this version, which featured overworld sprites like in the original Super Mario RPG, had good background details.
  • Last Christmas season, I had a dream that I was playing an old WCW wrestling game and lost when Buff Bagwell pinned my tag partner while I was out of the ring fighting someone else. I forget who I was playing as, but I recall Hollywood Hogan was in the match. The next day, I popped in an actual WCW game (I don't remember which one) and pinned Bagwell in retaliation.
  • Recently, I had a dream about finding a hidden coin room in Bowser's castle in Super Mario World.
  • Last night, I dreamt that I was playing Yoshi's Island. There were enemy frogs that had little mini-frogs hopping after them, Blarggs/Nep-Enuts that were quadrupedal, and enemy Yoshis that were purple. It felt a lot like playing the actual game.

i used to have dreams about playing dmc 2 and going through levels that dont exist lol. sometimes i get sucked into the game and have to fight those goat demon things. scary af

idk why specifically that game tho tbh

can't think of any other games.

The NES game Fester's Quest came about because the producer had a dream about playing a game called Fester's Funhouse and wanted to do an Addams Family game for real.

i was in an MGS2 stage / part that didn't exist last night.

Solidus was a lot stronger than he was in game, and he was very scary and had a few more tentacles than usual.

I remember hiding behind a corner of a building knowing he knew where I was and that he was coming.

Then it uh, somehow turned into a sex scene with some random woman who was also in the area. So that's a thing.

Yeah, when I was really little it used to happen a lot with super mario Bros levels.

Had some cool zelda ones too. An ocarina of time sequel, a fierce diety game, some major majoras mask stuff and a lot of other stuff that was cool.

Happened a lot with mgs games too.

I had a dream about playing a game from the mid-2000s that was sort of like Halo meets Resident Evil. The protagonist wore armor similar to Master Chief and one of the enemy monsters was a fanged, quadrupedal creature that would tackle and dry-hump the protagonist. Its name in-game was Mr. Friendly. I remarked to the person I was playing the game with that modern games would never include rape humor.

The name Mr. Friendly sounds familiar, but I've never bothered to Google it and see where it actually comes from.

I have had the same dream several times about finding this hidden island in Skyrim that nobody else can get to in their game. It's a perfectly square shaped island with tents all over it.
