Stereotypical anime fans hate it. I personally enjoy it since it goes through mature subjects like Vinland Saga.

I had one of my buds in XIV recommend it so I've been watching it. I've caught up to the dub releases but definitely been enjoying it and looking forward to more. Not enough of a weeb to read manga though.
