Disney needs to take a step back and not rush out so much shit, so cautiously optimistic. But they've run everything into the ground their entire history so I shouldn't be too hopeful.

Figured I'd say, I believe it was confirmed that Sabra was going to be a character in the movie. She's an Israeli superhero that is very anti-Palestinian/pro-Israeli. So...the major scenes getting reshot likely involve her character.

DCEU is such a smoldering crater they are trying to reboot it. And probably going to fail that too honestly.

Yeah, it kinda makes sense if they want to make some changes regarding the Sabra character.

Unlucky considering how Falcon & the Winter Soldier had to do reshoots to remove a plot revolving around a virus just as the pandemic broke out.

Life often gets in the way, unfortunately. This isn't new.

Spider-Man had to do reshoots because of 9/11. At one point, the deleted scene of him webbing a helicopter between the Twin Towers was used as a teaser trailer. It also cost us True Lies 2.

Way back in Hollywood's golden era, Warner Bros. was working on a film in which Humphrey Bogart had to deal with Japanese saboteurs plotting against Pearl Harbor when the film had to undergo a massive overhaul of its plot due to the attacks on Pearl Harbor.

Agatha feels like the spinoff of a spinoff. Even if it turned out great, it feels VERY unnecessary. They really need to take a break and reboot the whole MCU and start from scratch with FF4/Xmen and slowly bring back other characters.

Tradition dictates that they can't reboot the MCU until they do a Dark Phoenix movie.

Major Reshoots was supposed to be LT Colonel Reshoots but Tommy Tuberville held him up.

I dont think the reboot you think is will help as much as you think. Ff4 and xmen in their history have never had a movie that made more than thor love and thunder. The mcu brand is the strength that took these movies to billions. Rebooting without brand strength brings you back to the same place. What will fix marvel is keeping whatever the plan was...just make sure every title is good

Avengers 2 was such a pile of shit and ZSJL showed everyone that all the worst parts of Justice League were actually shot by Joss Whedon.

If it was delayed only a little bit like how Deadpool 3 only got a bit pushed 2 months I'd think something else, but the fact that they delayed it from May 2024 to February 2025 makes me think this is the reason.

For real. AOU gets so much shit for very little reason.

The only thing I can get behind is how apparently Ultron was super menacing and evil in the trailers, but turned out to just be another quipper. Didn't really bother me, and makes sense given he's a culmination of Stark technology (who, for those unaware, is also a quipper), but it at least makes some sense to me why people were upset.

That and the romance with hulk and widow. Did not like that.

Otherwise, I loved it.

I think itll help. The marvels seems to be rock bottom in terms of box office. Take a brief break, make everything good on tv and movie sides and come back strong.

Thats most of the movie tbh, doesnt help that Utron got his ass kicked pretty much throughout the entire movie. Youd think a AI with his ability could have caused a lot more damage then what he did but ultimately he didnt look, sound nor feel like an avengers lv threat. And it showed.

Curious if there's even much hype for it, considering it's another one that relies on having seen a TV show for full context. I think putting too many eggs into the TV basket has definitely hurt MCU's overall momentum.

Nah. That outfit is way too skin tight for modern Disney.

Feels like every MCU thing since Multiverse of Madness has had to do a bunch of reshoots that basically rewrite half the movie, and they all come out feeling like a jumbled mess that barely tells a coherent story. They just aren't planning these things out.

The lack of direction or care they've been putting into post-Endgame projects is staggering. They're literally just pumping out braindead content for the sake of it, then had SheHulk make of it, then continued to just keep fuckin doing it.
