Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden have been subpoenaed Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee, which took the remarkable step of seeking depositions from family members of President Biden amid its impeachment inquiry.

The release from House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) said he plans to send additional subpoenas and transcribed interview requests later this week.

  1. We're 10 months into this investigation and Republicans still can't articulate what crime Joe Biden has commited.
  2. These depositions will be conducted behind closed doors so Comer can still control the narrative when the testimony yields nothing of interest.
  3. Comer is going to drag this out well into the general election in the hopes that this hurts Biden at the polls like they did to Hillary with Benghazi.
  4. This is what an actual political witch hunt looks like.
