I dont. There are things about myself that I try to improve, but I dont hate myself.

I don't hate myself but since I sometimes dislike some of my actions, I said 3. The number of you saying 10 is disturbing.

10/10 when I drink, I dont drink tho

For me I have voted 10/10, I am not happy with my body for start and I am not happy with what happened in the past. When it comes to luck, I basically have 0 luck.
I had to fight a lot to improve my health, which I was able to do. However I still hate that I had to fight a lot do accomplish that.

I hate that I still don't have all the qualification needed to go to University and I still don't have a high paying job.

Some people say they hate themselves but they still walking around acting all high and mighty still. It's obvious they're only vocal about hating themselves.

That right there is an accomplishment, so how can you say 10? Give yourself credit where it is due. You got yourself healthy despite adversity, while others are more naturally healthy.

Imagine this, getting sinus infection on the worst possible timinig when it is near an exam. This has happened to me. Both me and my teacher were confident I would pass the exam, since in the practice exams I was doing very good. Then the next day I got sinus infection, which made it impossible to do good.
Sinus infection the fatigue and pain is so bad, even just writing my own name was difficult.

Tell me how can I forgive my body for doing that.

Everyone that I know has gone to University, graduated and are in high paying jobs. While for me I wasn't able to do so.

I guess you are right, it is a accomplishment. However solving my health problem doesn't change that I haven't gone to University and don't have a high paying job.

Impossible for me to hate myself. I am definitely a flawed individual, we all are. And life certainly sucks sometimes, but you bounce back and focus on the good.

I'm sorry, but after two separate long term homeless stints and just generally being impoverished for the first half of my life I cannot for the life of me see how someone might hate themselves, even a little bit.

I wouldn't go as far as recommending therapy, but hug a friend or talk with someone who enjoys your company - even the most "fucked up" individual can find something good about themselves to latch onto if they try.

For some that's a defense mechanism. I wouldn't say walking around with a persona actually shows someone internally is doing okay.

I think this is partially why mental health goes unnoticed.

Only you can truly say you are truly okay. Even if you are a good actor at hiding it to the public. By you, I obviously mean people in general.

My post isnt saying anything more than what it exactly says. A person acting like all is fine publicly does not remotely mean they aren't great actors battling struggles internally.

My post isnt about assigning "fault" as that's irrelevant to my point. A person acting like they are fine, doesn't mean they are actually fine. Mental health and the vast complications surrounding it is very complex.

I put 3/10. General contentment punctuated by moments of self-loathing

I voted 9/10.

I consider myself a decent enough person and have accomplished a few major goals I was struggling with (entering the workforce, getting my license, moving out). That's why I didn't vote 10.

However, I have always struggled with social ineptitude, and have had basically no close friends throughout my life. The few times I have tried to engage in small talk, I have ended up embarrassing myself. I've always hated this about myself, and have come close to losing all hope in improving my situation.
