Depends on why I went to the bar and what kind of bar. I never went to bars for drinks or the social aspect.

Most of the time, I went for a live lit show and I'd usually get one of the local beers on tap, preferably a stout or porter.
I went to a cocktail lounge one time and had cocktails there.
There's one bar with a good whiskey selection that I'd go to for whiskey again if I needed to take someone to a bar.

I was drinking Blue Moon for a while but I've switched to Corona Light due to the less calories.

For drinks I'll usually get a rum punch/rum runner depending on the name at the place.

the way i can tell if the bartender is actually skilled or not is by ordering an Old Fashioned. love it but it's messed up like 90% of the time.

but at vegas i only drink red bull/vodka. anywhere else it's either jack/coke or just whatever rum/coke.
