2nd day at the pool at LA Fitness. Doing better. I've been able to float and doggy paddle since I was a a teenager but I'm taking it more seriously now.

I've thought about taking lessons. Idgaf if I'll be out there with 5 year olds. I want to learn for exercise.

It's not that hard, and if you have the doggie pattle you have something.
Also, learn to tread water...which is effectively standing up in water. Keep your head above water. The most singular rule is, Don't Panic. I mean this. Panic can lead to taking in water and things get out of hand. Even if you are having a moment, Don't Panic. Tread Water - Doggie Pattle, and get back shore.
