My Souls history:

Demon's Souls - enjoyed a good amount. I like the game.

Dark Souls - Played a few hours, wasn't that into it. Got up to Quelaag and quit. I actually found the exploration aspects kinda frustrating.

Bloodborne - Played under an hour, didn't really enjoy it. Don't even think I got up to a boss. BotW came out right after I started.

Elden Ring - Love it, one of the best games of all time. Top 2 for the last ten years at least.

I wouldn't mind giving DS or BB another shot someday.

My Souls history:

Dark Souls - Got the PS3 version as a gift from a friend, played up to Blighttown and quit because of the frame rate issues. Later bought the Remaster on PS4 and finished it

Bloodborne - Free on PS Plus, couldn't figure out where to go in the very first area >_>

Elden Ring - Got it as a gift from the same friend who gave me Dark Souls 10 years earlier. Got stuck on Margit for like a year and then just didn't keep playing after I finally felled him. I'll probably get back to it eventually

I ended up selling Dark Souls Remastered for more than I paid for it, so I think I'm at a net zero spent on the series. I want to like these games but the hit detection is really bad and it ruins the experience for me.

My Bloodborne and Xenoblade guesses were from knowing KP but that's it. Automata seemed pretty obvious that it had to be somewhere in there from having Nier that high, I just had to realize it fit for #2.

My Soulsborne history is being pretty late to the party with Dark Souls but still really liking it, playing a little bit of Demon Souls on PS5 but without really getting into it and then getting Elden Ring on release and absolutely loving that.

I would've gotten Automata and Xenoblade due to some metagaming, but nothing serious.
Automata - OG Nier is KP's #12, so Automata should really be somewhere on the list.
Xenoblade - KP's signature is "It's Reyn Time."

No need to accuse people of cheating here at the end of the list

I could have gotten better scores with some research but you can figure some of these out just by knowing KP and being able to recognize the hints from playing the games

I actually was doing research and it didn't help as much as one might think. I mean I got a couple weird ones I wouldn't have otherwise but mostly my 2 wins were a combination of just knowing a lot of video games and being lucky.

Glad you guys enjoyed the topic! It was fun on my end too. I think a B8er needs to do writeups every so often or they go stir crazy.

Thanks for doing this! I'd have followed along with the writeups and submitted guesses even without the monetary prizes, but the prizes definitely made it more engaging. Definitely one of the most fun topics B8 has had in a while!
