i was canceling it soon when this deal through verizon is up. they paid for the year with me signing up for a year of paramount+

i really haven't used netflix much at all this year. i can always just sub for a month when i have a few things to watch. i'm good with just keeping the hulu bundle through verizon as the main thing.

Netflix would be worth it if they included their entire library from most countries. So often I was looking for a particular film and it was only available in other countries.

Why pay this much when you get get other services like apple tv for $5 a month

Didn't they just start the basic plan? How could they be phasing that out. Isn't that the ad one?

NeTfLiX iS eViL!!!!! I remember last time I told everyone they would get an increase in costumers after they went strict with the password sharing and majority of people called me dumb and other insults then it turned out I was right. Do I need to state the obvious once again and be insulted once again only to be right once again? I get the cool thing in the Internet is to hate on corporations and that they're greedy and stuff but they're rich for a reason and make smart business decisions overall.

What does Netflix even have to watch that people pay so much for? My girlfriend used to bum it from her family before the password crackdown shit and I swear there was nothing but a bunch of forgettable, mediocre original shows on it that they just cancel anyway. I don't think I've ever missed out on anything by never having it besides shows like Wednesday being popular for like a week.

I really don't know. I wouldnt mind seeing them fail lately and have it blow up in their face.

They have a TON of dubbed shows that they don't even let you sort because it would probably be considered "racist" or something.

All their original shows are like 6-10 episodes. Then on top of it will take sometimes 2 years or more to have the next season on. I really DONT get wh they're so popular.

They even thew away over a 100 million in yearly revenue by bailing on the DVDs.

Been using Netflix heavily since 2016. Been through many price hikes. I truly can't list a single thing I've seen benefit since then. Their app is pretty nice and thats it.

I cancelled netflix during their last price increase. I thought I would periodically go back to it a month at a time but I haven't. Don't miss it at all.

Its real. Probably wont get an email if you're on standard. That is the only one not going up.

Also the password sharing crackdown doesn't mean anything if you use your phone or computer. It only applies if you're using a dedicated app like on a smart TV or console i htink.

Ive seen this mentioned a few times, and on other sites too. I gotta look into setting this up for myself.
