I was about to go to get the relic in teh shar gauntlet but I got a nortice that the state of the world might change and to make sure Im positive to move forward, so I kept exploring more and now the only thing left is. moonrise tower but that is what is suppossed to be the next story moving thingie, and we are looking for the relic becauyseut will help against the main baddie in the tower, so is it good to go get the relic BEFORE moonrise? am I skipping content that will. be otherwise unavailable?

Pretty much everyone else is dead here anyways, but just asking to be sure.

Going to Moonrise won't automatically progress the story I believe. I didn't do it that way, but you can go there and infiltrate. Getting the relic WILL progress it though.

Once you go into the Shadowfell to obtain the Nightsong, you can no longer return back to any other area except the Shadow area and you are locked into completing the Moonrise Tower and moving onto Act 3.

Make sure you check the mountain path, because the mountain has some Act 2 stuff worth completing.

Also yeah, Moonrise tower has some stuff to do as well. But once you go to get the Nightsong, you are locked into attacking the tower.

The end of the Gauntlet of Shar is the big point of no return for the first two acts. After you go past that point, basically all the exploration and sidequests currently available to you become unavailable. So yes, go to Moonrise before you finish the gauntlet. There's stuff to do there that you won't be able to afterward.

You can go to Moonrise and they were going to send you to Shar's Gauntlet right after that. You're supposed to go to Moonrise first, naturally, and then they'll push you in the direction of Shar's Gauntlet. You really want to go to the dungeons, especially, before going to the gauntlet since that's the biggest change in that area of the game(after you finish the gauntlet)

Do everything up until the boss in Moonrise Tower (you'll know before you hit it, *really minor spoilers just to warn you where not to go* don't go up the tower) then do the shrine. Then go back to do the boss.

okay,I do believe I did pretty much everything elsebefore this,Iexplored the underdark, I have violently ended every single settlement I came across and I havent really meant it tbh.

All the goblins dead, all the druids in the grove dead except the one that wasnt a piece of shit, all the githyanki in the creche dead, blighted village dead, gymforge dwarves dead, pretty much the myconids are the only living entities from act 1 and 2, everyone in the last light inn turned and since jaheira was pissed she attacked me and now she is dead too, I also killed karlach because some dudes asked me to, they are alive i guess, and the chick that asked for a githyanki egg. Stewards in the tower are dead too.

Okay then Illgo to moonrise, finish the guantlet and then finishmoonrise,everything else here in the shadow thingieis seemingly done too.
