I hope so. They shouldn't stop just because of 1 bad game.

I think they're content making their spinoff games with other IPs. I don't think we'll see another Dynasty or Samurai Warriors game again.

this. prefer the old style of 7 and 8 plus extreme legends (massive undertaking to the plat). not hard once you learn it but very grindy.

DW9 killed it, though apparently Empires was alright? I'd rather have RTK15 anyway.

They fucked up with 6 and they still haven't figured out how to recover.

I hope they end it at 10 tbh. The series has run its course and until they can go back to the DW8 formula and ignore then DW9 I don't see the next one being all that good either.

DW4 will always be my favorite. ROTTK X will always be my personal favorite form that series.

I hope not, I enjoyed 9 actually as well but I also was playing it since day 1 and was able to compare as it got continued updates.

They did fuck up with 6 but got back on track with 7 and 8 with the latter being arguably the most complete game in the series.

I feel like they should try to improve on 9 than go back to the old style. Too many musou clones out there right now. 9 at least tried to be unique. As it stands I don't really know why I should play a hypothetical DW10 instead of something like Fate/Extella

This. Why make DW10 for your relatively niche dedicated audience to be angry at when you can release One Piece Pirate Warriors 5 and make 10x as much?

6 Empires was really good. They gave everyone unique movesets again. Cao Pi's was really badass then they subsequently got rid of it in 7. However, 5, 5XL and 5E were the best trio of games, imo.
