The age 25-54 employment population ratio from FRED is one I look at a lot. Its now close to 81%, which we havent reached since the late 90s.

I happened to see it on CNN earlier where the job growth was the headline story and the sub-story right below it was 'and this is why it's bad for you.' I went back to check if it was still there after I saw your post, and even I was floored that they'd made the 'and this is why it's bad for you' bullshit the honest-to-god headline article.

It's really been sinking in lately that "CNN's a joke" sadly isn't merely a running joke anymore.

Reality and what the media push are two very different things the economy is not good for regular people. If it was all these workers would not be striking for better pay.
