Deprogramming borderline members is probably possible but Hillary is the last person you want trying it, she probably inadvertently programmed more MAGAts with her terrible campaign than anyone she deprogrammed, unfortunately.

The likes of Bernie Sanders are way better at this particular task.

Also Sam Sedar added that Trump cultism is not a unique new phenomenon, the republican party had been heading toward being a conspiracy cult long before Trump.

Nothing she said was wrong there. Get back to me when she commands her followers to destroy democracy and install her as a fascist dictator as Trump has done, because all she's saying there is that the circumstances of his win were shady, which is true.

At the end of the day, no matter what misgivings she might've had, she conceded and did so in a timely manner... she didn't whine and gaslight and call for violence against anyone and everyone that stood in her path to the presidency.

The only times they've won the popular vote since Bush was when they were getting a president reelected.

And when I say Bush, I mean Bush Senior.

It must be embarrassing to think you have a gotcha but you didn't do any research so you're actually wrong.

There is no such thing as being able to deprogram these people. What should happen is Rupert Murdoch and the other right wing media magnates should be treated like Julius Streicher was after the war, as enemies of democracy, and the propaganda outlets should be shut down rather than allowed to peddle fascism.

I somewhat agree with Hillary that there needs to be attempt to deprogram them someday in the near future. It should be a campaign promise for every 2028 Democrat candidates that there will be an attempt to get family members and friends who are caught up in it, off propaganda news. At some point, the Democrats have to go on the offensive and fight back against the fascist movement using all levers of government at their disposal. The plug needs to be pulled on propaganda in this country.

Where I disagree with her is who we should deprogram. Deprogramming everyone is futile task. I think efforts would be better used targeting the younger Gen Z and Gen Alpha Republicans first and get them out of the cult. They're more likely to be reached, because they don't have that decades worth of propaganda wormed into the brains yet. As well as the built in racism, msygonistic, xenophobia, etc. That the older generations have in spades.

I think the older generations like the Boomers and Gen X Republicans. I think we're just better off letting them die off sadly, then make the effort to try to pull them out. Even though we all have parents and or family members of that age, who are stuck in the conservative programming.
