Baten Kaitos1 & 2 were released for Nintendo Switch. I am playing the Asian release which has English text boxes and Japanese voice acting.
The game is better now because I appreciate the nuances. Without spoilers The 12 yo in the party acts like a 12 yo. Game breaks the 4th wall and talks to the player. Game shows that kings are not always obeyed. Game talks about how government puts down workers' strikes.
