Haven't played since release and I didn't get very far. I want to build a fast stealthy character that uses pistols and maybe a blade that also does cool hacky stuff. What do I do

Reflex and Cool. Throw knives and dash around with a sword and can be sneaky. Side of tech to open doors and such. That's what I'm doing and it's a blast

skip all the dialog none of it is interesting or particularly relevant to the story.

I haven't tried a similar build, but I think you should focus on reflexes and cool to put your stats in.

if you're not planning on hacking or making a tank, I don't think you need to worry about body or technology.

I forget what intelligence does.

You still need tech to open locked doors which helps a lot with sneaking. I'm at 20 Reflex and 18 Cool with 10 Tech and I definitely need more tech.

Double jump and air dash helps a lot though

Yeah it really helps a lot. So many times I get to a door with a body check and I get sad with my 3. I'm doing the Peralez quest and I can't open this computer cause I'm 2 away and I have zero clue how to continue. Damn them!

I started it the other day too and am shortly after the part where it shows you the title screen. Without spoiling too much there is at least one point where the UI switches colors from the red and I wish the whole game was in this other color. Not a fan of the red.

I definitely want to hack. Is that intelligence or tech?

i did the "hack every enemy without even entering the hostile zone" stealth runs

In terms of build I would check and see what the recommended minimums are in some of the stats for quest/social reasons. Some quests or paths through an area will be locked by stuff like Body 12 so you'll want to invest at least a little bit in the stats that actually impact the roleplay part.

Yeah I'm starting to feel like I fucked myself by starting with 3 tech and 4 body lol one respec is kinda restricting and I definitely don't want to go through that intro all over again.

Do a melee build at least once.

Shit was a lot of fun.
